Our mission at Grounded Life Counseling Center is to provide a safe and supportive space where healing unfolds, self-awareness grows, and each person discovers their capacity for balance and well-being.

We’re Grounded Life Counseling.
We aim to bring clients into a deeper feeling of self-trust and grounding - whether this is healing and overcoming the effects of trauma (which opens a whole "new" life), or managing the effects of anxiety or depression.
This level of self-trust and grounding increases self-esteem and confidence in decision making, whether the decision is "small" or potentially life changing.
At Grounded Life Counseling Center, we’re here to walk alongside you with care, intention, and respect for your unique path.
Our practice is built on the belief that healing begins in a space where you feel seen, supported, and gently guided back to your own inner wisdom.
Originally founded in 2020 as True North Counseling, our practice has grown through seasons of change—each one shaping the grounded, nurturing environment we offer today.
Over the years, we’ve refined not only our name but also our mission: to help you feel more steady, more connected, and more at home within yourself.
Through compassionate, evidence-based therapy, we support individuals in building resilience, deepening self-awareness, and moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.

At Grounded Life Counseling Center, every therapist on our team is trained in trauma-informed care. This means we approach each person with deep respect, gentle curiosity, and a commitment to creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly understood.
Our specialty is in supporting those impacted by childhood trauma—whether it's a child who has recently experienced trauma, an adult still carrying the weight of past wounds, or the caregivers, family members, and professionals walking alongside them.
We understand that the ripple effects of trauma can show up in many ways and at every stage of life.
While trauma is at the heart of much of our work, we also support individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, OCD, and more.
