Jen Connelly, LPC-Pending (Currently seeing clients 15+) & Billing Specialist
Hi, I’m Jen.
Life can be overwhelming, and at some point, everyone needs someone to walk alongside them through life’s challenges. I want you to know that you are worthy of taking steps toward personal growth and healing, no matter how daunting those first steps may feel!
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, ADHD, an autism diagnosis, identity exploration, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, you do not have to face it alone.
I believe the collaborative relationship between client and therapist is the cornerstone of meaningful counseling. My goal is to provide a genuine, nonjudgmental, and inclusive space where you feel safe to be your most authentic self. Regardless of the challenges life has brought you, we can build a therapeutic relationship where you feel truly heard, seen, and understood.
I especially enjoy working with teens, college students, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and other adults who are navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, autism, identity exploration, and life transitions. Every person's story is unique, and I strive to honor that throughout the counseling process.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and individualized. Using a person-centered, strengths-based foundation, I incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to create a treatment approach that fits your unique needs and goals. You know yourself best, and I am here to support you in becoming the person you aspire to be.
The courage it takes to reach out for support is already one of your greatest strengths. You don't have to navigate this journey alone. My hope is that therapy helps you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and accept that you deserve to build a life that feels authentic to who you are. You are complex and unique, and your therapeutic journey should be too!
*As the billing specialist for Grounded Life, I am also happy to answer any insurance or billing-related questions you may have.
Ready for a change?
Sometimes, the hardest part is reaching out. But you're not alone—and you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. Let’s take that next step together.
