Beth Tabbert, LCPC
Hi, I’m Beth.
Currently seeing adults.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with more than ten years of experience working with individuals and couples, in a variety of clinical settings.
I have experience working in residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment facilities, opioid abuse treatment, intensive outpatient programs for adults with significant mental illness, a hospital, and a prison.
I received both my BA in Psychology and my MA in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, in Schaumburg, IL.
The decision to seek therapy for any mental health condition or life problem is a deeply personal one. It can be scary to think about talking to a complete stranger about such deeply personal, sensitive, and intense aspects of your life.
It can also be rewarding to experience understanding, change, and growth through exploration of your heart and mind.
It is my goal to meet you where you are and provide a safe, supportive space for you to learn about yourself, make lasting changes, grow into the best version of yourself, and reach your goals.
Therapy Approach
My approach is non-directive, and is primarily based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Client Centered Therapy. I see individuals and couples age 15 and up.
My Therapy Philosophy
Therapy is a wonderful way to gain insight about your thought and behavior patterns and gain skills to solve general life problems, cope with anxiety and depression, resolve trauma or grief, and improve relationships.
